Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 96 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,741 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $40,749 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,887 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Passport has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you keep the vehicle in good condition and avoid overpaying now, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell. Demand should remain supported by the Passport’s practical layout and broad owner approval.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $37,695 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $40,749 CAD average.
• It adds a tougher look and the first TrailSport trim.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $46,425 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $40,749 CAD average.
• It adds a subtle refresh with easy-to-use tech.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-market price. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want the newer refresh and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
