The user feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers highlighting comfort, spaciousness, and trouble-free family use as recurring strengths. Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 199 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,853 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $42,133 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,037 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of overpaying. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service history rather than on market momentum alone. A well-kept example should still attract family buyers, especially if it presents as clean, practical, and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $38,107 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $42,133 CAD average.
• It drives with a light, responsive character.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and deal availability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value play, especially if you find one with a clean history and similar equipment.
