Used 2020 Honda Odyssey for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2020 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 10.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 138 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Honda Odyssey earns a 4.78/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and user-friendly features, and many also like the more luxurious feel and updated technology. That fits well if you want a family minivan built around everyday practicality, easy use, and passenger-friendly versatility. With 23.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially around comfort and usability. At the same time, the model-year overview points to electrical glitches, infotainment issues, and transmission issues, so a careful inspection and service-history review matter for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, your risk is manageable if you choose a well-maintained example and verify that any past issues have been addressed.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 138 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,168 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $29,512 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,893 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the van more attractive to used buyers today but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation losses. The current range also shows there is still a meaningful spread between lower and higher-priced listings, so condition and equipment will matter when you eventually resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• It adds upgraded technology and improved family-focused practicality.

The bottom line: Choose the 2020 if you want a well-equipped minivan at a softer price point and you’re comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you’re willing to spend more for a fresher-feeling package, the 2021 is the better path; if price matters most, the 2020 deserves a close look.
