Used 2023 Honda Civic for Sale nearBurlington, ON

How much does the 2023 Honda Civic cost?

Prices have softened 10.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,053 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Honda Civic a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.88/5, which is a strong sign that it delivers on everyday ownership. The user feedback consistently points to comfort, fuel efficiency, and a roomy interior, while also noting great performance. For you, that means the 2023 Civic makes the most sense if you want a compact car that feels more substantial than its size suggests and still works well as a practical daily driver. With 29.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Honda Civic reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary also points to a car that feels comfortable, fuel-efficient, and generally satisfying to live with over time. That kind of feedback matters because it suggests the Civic is the sort of used car you can count on for regular commuting and everyday use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic dependability and more about finding one with the features and condition you want at a fair price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Civic?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,053 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.33% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,139 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Civic's resale value?

The current average of $26,276 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,303 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of preserving value than someone who pays near the top of the range. The Civic’s broad appeal should still support demand, but future resale will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Civic or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,951 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $26,276 CAD average.
• It was redesigned to sharpen the Civic’s technology, comfort, and overall execution.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $27,812 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $26,276 CAD average.
• It leans harder into enthusiast driving with a more performance-focused setup.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, strong owner satisfaction, and broad everyday appeal, the 2023 is the primary choice. If your budget is tighter, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want a more performance-oriented Civic and can spend more, the 2024 is worth a look.
