Used 2023 Ford Bronco for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2023 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 9.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 444 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Ford Bronco a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Ford Bronco earns 4.3/5 from owners and 8/10 from experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, comfort, and features, and many also like the rugged design. The trade-offs are that some shoppers find the pricing high, while fuel efficiency and cargo practicality can be concerns.

Given its focus on rugged capability and everyday versatility, it makes the most sense if you want a vehicle that feels at home on rough terrain without giving up highway use. With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable, with praise for comfort, features, and the kind of rugged design people can count on. The Bronco’s performance also supports that impression, with strong on-road composure for an off-road-focused SUV and a quieter cabin than a comparable Wrangler.

Ford’s maintenance and ownership support can help, but you should still pay close attention to how a used example was equipped and used, since this is a vehicle built for hard work and trail duty.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Ford Bronco?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from the bare-bones Base trim to the Raptor, with the Base missing some convenience and driver-assistance content that appears on higher trims. The Heritage Edition adds nostalgic styling touches, while the Heritage Limited Edition is described as the more capable of the two.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.3-litre four-cylinder, an optional 2.7-litre V6, and a top-end 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 in the Raptor. The base engine is described as adequate, while the V6 is a better fit for the heavier four-door model.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, trailer-sway assist, and Trail Turn Assist. The Mid package adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking proximity sensors, and automatic high beams, but it is not available on the Base model.
• Infotainment: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Ford’s SYNC 4, and FordPass Connect are standard. Most Broncos come with an eight-inch touchscreen, while the available 12-inch display is the one to seek out for easier use.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates the four-cylinder engine at as little as 11.6 L/100 km in combined driving, rising to 14.3 L/100 km depending on equipment. The 2.7-litre V6 is rated between 12.0 and 14.1 L/100 km, while the Raptor is estimated at 15.3 L/100 km.

Which 2023 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2023 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Bronco Outer Banks, Bronco Badlands, Heritage Edition, Bronco Wildtrak, Heritage Limited Edition, and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, but it is the most stripped-back version and misses some of the convenience and driver-assistance content found higher up the range. It makes sense if you want the Bronco experience at the lowest starting point and plan to add carefully.
• Big Bend: This is a sensible step up if you want a more rounded everyday Bronco without jumping too far in price. It should suit you if you want a better balance of equipment and value than the Base.
• Black Diamond: This is the best-value trim to consider if you want a strong middle ground. The source specifically calls it a good middle ground, and it is the trim to look at if you want capability without going all the way to the pricier variants.
• Bronco Outer Banks: This trim leans more toward comfort and style than the more rugged versions. It suits you if you want a more polished Bronco for regular use.
• Bronco Badlands: This is the more capability-focused choice if you want a Bronco that leans harder into off-road use. It is a strong pick if trail performance matters more than comfort.
• Heritage Edition: This trim is for you if the retro look is a big part of the appeal. Its throwback grille, roof, wheels, and plaid upholstery give it a distinctive personality.
• Bronco Wildtrak: This is another higher-spec choice for shoppers who want a more serious, more expensive Bronco. It fits best if you want a more premium and capable setup.
• Heritage Limited Edition: This is the more capable version of the Heritage pair, so it is the one to choose if you want the nostalgic styling with extra substance.
• Raptor: This is the top dog, with the widest stance, elevated height, and huge fender flares. It is the one to buy if you want the most extreme Bronco character and do not mind paying for it.

The Mid package is not available on the Base trim, so if safety content matters to you, shop above the entry model.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 444 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.64% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,275 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $49,333 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,593 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Bronco has cooled a bit from its earlier peak, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may depend more on condition, trim desirability, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because the Bronco remains desirable and has a strong enthusiast following, well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. Higher-spec trims and clean, well-equipped trucks are likely to hold interest better than more basic versions.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2023 Ford Bronco earns four-star ratings in frontal crash protection and three-star ratings for rollover protection from NHTSA. The IIHS awarded it Good scores in all crashworthiness tests except head restraints and seats, where it received Acceptable.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, trailer-sway assist, and Trail Turn Assist. The Mid package adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking proximity sensors, and automatic high beams, while the High package adds front parking sensors and a 360-degree camera system. The Luxe package adds adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist.

A key caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, and the Bronco’s safety coverage is less comprehensive than what you’ll find in many conventional SUVs.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds Heritage-inspired variants that broaden the lineup.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $39,898 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $49,333 CAD average.
• It offers strong off-road ability with better pavement manners than expected.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,388 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $49,333 CAD average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the best mix of desirability, variety, and softened pricing. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the value play; if you want the newest tech, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
