Is the 2022 Hyundai Venue a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for the 2022 Hyundai Venue. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used vehicle that has pleased previous owners. With 27.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Venue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around ownership risk, especially if you verify the vehicle’s maintenance history and condition before buying.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Hyundai Venue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,000 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $18,000 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,676 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold value better than a neglected one. Strong condition and a clean history matter more when the market is already pricing in a decline.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Hyundai Venue makes sense if you want a used subcompact SUV with strong owner feedback and a market that has become more favourable for buyers. If your priority is value, this year deserves a close look; if you are especially price-sensitive, compare it against nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples with clean histories.
