Used 2022 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearGloucester, ON

How much does the 2022 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 13.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 310 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Hyundai Palisade earns a 4.59/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, luxury features, smooth ride, and advanced safety technology. That lines up well with its family-focused mission, especially if you want a three-row SUV that feels more polished than many rivals.

The main trade-offs are its sluggish touchscreen response and less intuitive interface, along with some road noise and missing features such as folding mirrors and cooling seats at higher prices.

With its roomy cabin and strong family appeal, it suits you best if comfort, practicality, and a near-luxury feel matter more than cutting-edge tech polish. Good and great deals account for 28.1% of listings, which is a decent sign that some shoppers are finding value.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.59/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with repeated praise for its spaciousness, comfort, and family-friendly usability. The Palisade’s strong safety reputation and well-rounded feature set also support confidence over the long term.

Its powertrain and warranty coverage help reinforce that sense of durability, and the overall package suggests you’re looking at a vehicle that many owners feel they can count on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about core reliability and more about whether the technology and feature set meet your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred is well equipped, while Urban adds more convenience and tech, and Ultimate Calligraphy brings the most upscale feel. The base trim misses some higher-end features, so you should compare equipment carefully if you want the best value.
• Powertrain: You get a naturally aspirated 3.8-litre V6 with direct gasoline injection, dual variable valve timing, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It delivers strong power for family use, but fuel economy is not class-leading.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-following assist, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and trailer sway control. Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy add forward-looking parking sensors, and Ultimate Calligraphy adds Highway Driving Assist.
• Infotainment: The system uses a 1920 x 720 colour touchscreen, wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, HD Radio, and satellite radio. Blue Link connected services are standard on Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy, and the digital instrument cluster is also reserved for those trims.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates consumption at 12.3 L/100 km in the city, 9.6 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.1 L/100 km combined.

Which 2022 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Urban, Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value pick if you want the Palisade’s core strengths without stretching your budget. It still gives you the roomy cabin, strong safety equipment, and standard all-wheel drive, making it the smartest starting point for many buyers.
• Urban: This trim adds more convenience and tech, including Blue Link connected services, the digital instrument cluster, surround-view capability, and forward-looking parking sensors. It makes sense if you want a more premium daily experience without going all the way to the top trim.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the most luxurious version, with the head-up display, 115-volt outlet, Qi wireless charging, standard surround view, and Highway Driving Assist. Choose it if you want the most upscale Palisade and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy add extra driver-assistance hardware that makes them easier to live with.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should have some room to shop around.

• Deal availability: 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 310 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.27% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,444 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $32,444 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,408 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Palisade more attractive to used buyers today. For future sellers, it also means you should expect resale values to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim level rather than broad market momentum alone.

Because the model still has strong family appeal and a premium image, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less desirable three-row SUVs. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.59/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is a Top Safety Pick+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-following assist, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and trailer sway control. Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy add forward-looking parking sensors, while Ultimate Calligraphy also adds Highway Driving Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control and automated lane centring.

That combination makes the Palisade a strong choice if safety is a top priority. The main caveat is that some of the more advanced convenience and parking features are reserved for higher trims.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.59/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines strong safety, standard AWD, and a polished family-focused cabin.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $27,429 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $32,444 CAD average.
• It adds more standard equipment and a new luxury-themed trim.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,303 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $32,444 CAD average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard and optional tech and safety features.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, safety, and family-friendly comfort, the 2022 is the sweet spot. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newest styling and extra tech, the 2023 is worth the premium.
