The user feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners highlighting comfort and day-to-day usability over time. Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 23.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 239 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,787 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $37,912 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,684 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pilot has softened enough to improve your entry point as a buyer, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. Because the current average is still close to the year-round low, there may be limited room for further near-term appreciation unless demand strengthens. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 23.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $32,457 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $37,912 CAD average.
• It prioritises utility, comfort, and everyday usefulness over flashy styling.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $48,244 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $37,912 CAD average.
• It brings a full redesign with more rugged styling and more thoughtful convenience items.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and family-friendly practicality, the 2022 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter and you can live with older styling, the 2021 is the better value play. If you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
