Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and long list of features, and the model’s comfortable, practical setup fits well if you want a roomy family sedan with everyday usability. Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on the car’s long-term appeal and everyday consistency. For long-term ownership, that means the Accord can be a sensible choice, but you should still verify maintenance history before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 127 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $28,264 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,438 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive resale environment if prices stay under pressure. The good news is that the Accord’s strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal should help support demand when it’s time for you to sell. If you keep the car in good condition and maintain it properly, it should remain attractive to used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,781 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,264 CAD average.
• It offers a more elevated feel with refined safety and feature content.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,672 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $28,264 CAD average.
• It adds a more engaging driving character while keeping strong space and safety.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of owner satisfaction, current-market pricing, and deal availability, the 2022 is the primary pick. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value path; if you want a newer-feeling Accord without paying more than the current average, the 2023 is the other sensible option.
