Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.5/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a reliable, dependable ownership experience overall, with many drivers describing it as a car they can count on. For long-term ownership, a well-documented example is the safer bet.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 118 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,747 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $28,569 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,495 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance records than on broad market momentum alone. Because the model still attracts shoppers looking for comfort, practicality, and safety, a clean example should remain appealing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,887 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,569 CAD average.
• It offers a more value-focused, safety-minded take on the Accord.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,734 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $28,569 CAD average.
• It adds a redesigned, more polished take on the family-sedan formula.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped Accord with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price trend. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newer redesign and can stretch a bit, the 2023 is worth a look.
