Used 2022 Ford Bronco for Sale nearThunder Bay, ON

How much does the 2022 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 11.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 326 listings available, which suggests you still have some room to compare options.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Ford Bronco earns a 4.5/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, performance, stylish design, comfort, tech features, and spaciousness. The Bronco also fits buyers who want a rugged SUV that still works well for everyday driving, with multiple body styles and a broad range of versions to suit different needs.

The trade-offs are familiar: some owners feel it is overpriced, and too many essential features are optional. Even so, the market still shows 28.8% of listings as good or great deals, which points to some value opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in the ways that matter to shoppers who want a capable SUV they can count on. The expert drive data also supports that impression by describing the Bronco as a well-rounded off-roader that behaves confidently on pavement and in difficult terrain.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about choosing the right trim and equipment level for your needs, since many desirable features are optional.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Bronco’s lineup ranges from more basic versions to highly equipped off-road models, and the feature gaps are meaningful. Base trims miss some advanced safety equipment that becomes available higher up the range, so you should check whether the truck you’re considering has the packages you want.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder and an optional turbocharged 2.7-litre V6. The four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A seven-speed manual is available only with the two-door four-cylinder, while the 10-speed automatic is mandatory for the V6 and all four-door models.
• Safety package: The Bronco includes hill-start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control as standard. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams are available on all but the base trim as part of the optional Mid package. Front parking sensors and a surround-view camera system are offered with the High package, while the Lux package adds adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: The Sync 4 system has quick responses and sharp graphics. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system is paired with Bluetooth; the available wireless charging pad is a useful add-on.
• Fuel efficiency: The two-door with the base four-cylinder engine is estimated at 12.1 L/100 km in the city, 11.2 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.7 L/100 km combined with the automatic transmission. The V6 ranges between 12.4 and 15.3 L/100 km combined, with the latter figure for the Raptor.

Which 2022 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2022 Ford Bronco is offered in 6 trim levels: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and Everglades.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the Bronco experience at the lowest starting price. It gives you the core off-road hardware and body-style choices, but you’ll want to check package content carefully because many convenience and safety features are optional.
• Black Diamond: This trim is a better fit if you want a more trail-focused setup without jumping to the pricier upper trims. It adds capability over the base version and suits buyers who plan to use the Bronco off pavement more often.
• Outer Banks: This is the trim to consider if you want a more polished daily driver with Bronco character. It still keeps the rugged personality, but it’s aimed more at comfort and style than maximum trail hardware.
• Badlands: This is the best-value choice for shoppers who want serious off-road ability without going all the way to the top of the range. It’s the trim to target if capability matters most and you want a strong balance of equipment and price.
• Wildtrak: Choose this if you want one of the most capable versions in the lineup and are willing to pay for it. It’s aimed at buyers who want a more extreme off-road setup.
• Everglades: This is the most specialised trim in the standard lineup, with swamp and deep-water focus. It adds an intake snorkel, a Warn winch, and 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tyres, so it suits buyers who want maximum trail hardware.

The safety-package gaps matter here: advanced driver-assistance features are not standard on the base trim, so higher trims or option packages are worth prioritising if safety tech is important to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 326 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,593 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $40,593 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,702 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Bronco has cooled from its earlier peak, which can make future resale more sensitive to trim, mileage, and equipment. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average.

Because demand remains strong and supply is limited, well-equipped examples should continue to attract attention from used buyers. Higher-trim Broncos with desirable packages are likely to hold up better than stripped-down versions.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2022 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from IIHS in frontal, side, and roof strength tests, and a four-star frontal crash rating plus three-star rollover protection from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include hill-start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to move up the trim ladder or add packages to get the protection tech you want.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 stands out for its broad trim range and strong off-road ability while still driving better on pavement than its closest rival.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,495 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,593 CAD average.
• It adds a broader nine-model lineup with more configuration choice.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2022 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and owner satisfaction remains strong. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year and broader configuration choice, the 2023 is the alternative to consider.
