Used 2022 Ford Bronco for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2022 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 327 listings available, which suggests you have some inventory to compare even in a popular segment.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Ford Bronco earns a 4.5/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, performance, stylish design, comfort, tech features, and spaciousness. The Bronco also fits a wide range of buyers thanks to its broad model roster and multiple body styles, so you can tailor it to trail use or everyday driving.

The trade-offs are clear: advanced safety features are not standard, and some shoppers feel it is overpriced with too many essentials left optional. Even so, if you want a rugged SUV that still behaves well on pavement, this year’s Bronco lines up well with that use case.

Only 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards shoppers who move quickly on the right example.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable, with owners highlighting its performance, off-road capability, and overall confidence-inspiring character. The expert drive notes also emphasise that the Bronco behaves well on pavement and reduces driver fatigue, which supports the sense that it can be counted on for both trail duty and daily use.

The ownership risk for used buyers is less about basic durability and more about whether you are comfortable with the Bronco’s optional-feature structure and its rugged, specialised nature.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Bronco’s lineup ranges from more basic versions to higher-spec models with more off-road hardware and convenience features. Base trims leave out some advanced safety equipment that appears on higher packages, so you should check whether the example you are considering has the features you want.
• Powertrain: You can find a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder or an optional turbocharged 2.7-litre V6. The four-cylinder is available with a seven-speed manual in two-door form, while the V6 and all four-door models use a 10-speed automatic. Both engines are built to deliver strong low-end torque and serious off-road ability.
• Safety package: The Bronco’s driver-assistance suite includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams, but these are not standard on the base trim. Higher packages add front parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: The Sync 4 system brings quick responses and sharp graphics, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. You also get Bluetooth, and the system is designed to support off-road use as well as everyday driving.
• Fuel efficiency: The two-door with the base four-cylinder engine is estimated at 12.1 L/100 km in the city, 11.2 on the highway, and 11.7 combined with the automatic transmission. The V6 ranges between 12.4 and 15.3 L/100 km combined, with the latter figure for the Raptor.

Which 2022 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2022 Ford Bronco is offered in 6 trim levels: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and Everglades.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the entry point and the best place to start if you want the Bronco experience without chasing the pricier off-road hardware. It suits you if you want the core design, body-style choice, and everyday usability at the lowest starting price.
• Black Diamond: This trim adds more trail-focused capability than the base setup and is a sensible step up if you plan to use the Bronco off pavement more often. It is a stronger value if you want a more rugged build without jumping to the pricier upper trims.
• Outer Banks: This is the better pick if you care more about comfort and style than maximum trail hardware. It suits you if you want a more polished Bronco for mixed driving.
• Badlands: This is the trim to target if you want serious off-road ability and are willing to pay for it. It is the best-value choice for buyers who want a more capable Bronco without going all the way to the top-end models.
• Wildtrak: This trim is aimed at buyers who want a highly capable, more expensive Bronco with a stronger performance-oriented off-road focus. Choose it if you want one of the most accomplished versions in the lineup.
• Everglades: This is the most specialised choice, with swamp and deep-water hardware including an intake snorkel, a Warn winch, and 35-inch mud-terrain tyres. It suits you if your priority is extreme off-road use rather than everyday value.

Base trims miss some advanced safety features, so check package content carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should be ready to act when a well-priced example appears.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 327 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.90% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,768 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $40,768 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,753 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has cooled from the prior year, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key question is whether the Bronco’s strong demand and broad appeal can offset the softer pricing trend. Because this model still attracts shoppers looking for capability and style, well-equipped examples should remain easier to move than more ordinary SUVs.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2022 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from IIHS in frontal, side, and roof strength tests, and Acceptable ratings for head restraints and seats. The four-door model earns four-star ratings for frontal crash protection from NHTSA, and both the four- and two-door Broncos earn three-star rollover ratings.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

The Bronco’s standard safety equipment includes hill-start assist, hill descent control, trailer sway control, dual-stage front and side airbags for the front row, side-curtain airbags for both rows, and a rollover sensor. Available driver assistance includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams, with front parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, and evasive steering assist available on higher packages.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you need to check package content carefully on used examples.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 model year is already sold out, which underscores how in demand it was.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,277 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,768 CAD average.
• It adds a broader nine-model lineup with two- or four-door choices.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2022 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and owner satisfaction remains strong. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model-year option, the 2023 gives you a broader range of configurations.
