Used 2022 Ford Bronco for Sale nearGloucester, ON

How much does the 2022 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 331 listings available, which suggests you have some inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.5/5, and the expert rating is 8/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, performance, comfort, tech features, and spaciousness. The Bronco’s broad range of versions also makes it appealing if you want something that can suit different skill levels and budgets.

The trade-offs are that some owners feel it is overpriced and that too many essential features are optional. In practice, that means you may need to shop carefully if you want the best mix of equipment and value.

The Bronco’s mix of trail ability and everyday drivability makes it a strong fit if you want a rugged SUV that still works on pavement. With 30.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as dependable in the sense that it delivers the performance, off-road capability, and comfort they expect from it. The expert review also highlights that its systems function as advertised, with no false alarms or glitches.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you can live with the Bronco’s optional-equipment structure and value trade-offs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Bronco’s lineup ranges from more basic versions to highly equipped off-road models, and the feature gap at the lower end is important because advanced safety features are not standard. If you want more convenience and driver assistance, you’ll need to pay attention to package content rather than assuming it comes on every trim.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a four-cylinder or six-cylinder engine, and the Bronco also offers both two-door and four-door configurations. The review notes that even the less-capable versions are still highly capable off-road, while the more expensive models push that ability much further.
• Safety package: The Bronco includes hill-start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control as standard. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams are available on all but the base trim as part of the optional Mid package. Front parking sensors and a surround-view camera system are offered with the High package while the Lux package adds adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: The Bronco uses Sync 4 with quick responses and sharp graphics, plus a large infotainment touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system is paired with Bluetooth and an available wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder is estimated at 12.1 L/100 km in the city, 11.2 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.7 L/100 km combined with the automatic transmission. The V6 ranges between 12.4 and 15.3 L/100 km combined, with the latter figure applying to the Raptor.

Which 2022 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2022 Ford Bronco is offered in 6 trim levels: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and Everglades.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the entry point and makes sense if you want the Bronco experience at the lowest starting price. It gives you the core Bronco character, but you’ll want to compare package content carefully because many desirable safety and convenience features are not standard.
• Black Diamond: This trim is aimed at buyers who want a more trail-ready setup without jumping to the pricier upper trims. It’s a better fit if you expect to use the Bronco off pavement more often and want a stronger value balance than the higher-end versions.
• Outer Banks: This is the trim to consider if you care more about everyday comfort and style than maximum trail hardware. It suits you best if you want a Bronco that leans a bit more toward road use while keeping the model’s rugged personality.
• Badlands: This is the best-value choice if you want serious off-road capability without going all the way to the most expensive trims. It’s the trim to target if trail performance matters most and you want a more capable Bronco than the lower trims.
• Wildtrak: This is for buyers who want one of the most capable Broncos in the lineup. It suits you if you want a more extreme off-road focus and are willing to pay for it.
• Everglades: This trim is built for swamp trekking and deep water, and it adds an intake snorkel, a Warn winch, and 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires. It’s the right pick if you want the most specialised off-road hardware in this lineup.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so check package content carefully on any trim you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

The market looks moderate, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 331 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.64% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,160 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $40,160 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,943 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Bronco has already moved off its peak, which can help future buyers but may limit upside for a seller. If you own one, strong demand and limited inventory can still support resale, especially for well-equipped or desirable trims.

Because the Bronco remains in demand and has a broad appeal, sellers may still find healthy interest if the vehicle is clean and properly equipped. The current price trend also suggests buyers are more price-sensitive than they were a year ago, so condition and trim mix will matter more.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2022 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from IIHS and four-star ratings for frontal crash protection and three-star ratings for rollover protection from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include hill-start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control.

A key caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to move up in trim or add packages to get the equipment many shoppers expect.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 stands out for its broad trim range and strong off-road ability without giving up everyday drivability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,517 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,160 CAD average.
• It adds nine distinct models, giving you even more configuration choice.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2022 is the smarter starting point because prices have eased and the model still delivers the Bronco formula well. If you’re willing to spend more for a broader model range, the 2023 is the better alternative.
