Is the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, comfortable interior, and convenient stow-away seating, and they also highlight its versatility for family and everyday use. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a practical minivan with a more upscale feel than many rivals. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 200 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.82% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $31,696 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,357 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable level, but it also suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation. If you plan to sell later, the current market position means your future resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. A well-kept Pacifica with desirable features should still appeal to family buyers, especially because the model’s practicality remains a core selling point.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,787 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $31,696 CAD average.
• It offers refreshed styling and updated technology.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value path and still delivers the Pacifica’s core family-friendly strengths.
