Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

The expert assessment also describes it as a decent value with an approachable, easy-to-live-with character.

Chevrolet’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty help reduce early ownership risk for used buyers.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 1LT is the entry point, but it misses some equipment that matters to many shoppers, including navigation and the available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2LT and 3LT add more convenience and tech, while the convertible body style brings a power-operated hardtop.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-litre V8 with 490 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, or 495 hp and 470 lb-ft with the optional performance exhaust. It uses an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, and the mid-engine layout is a major part of the car’s balance and traction.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are the key driver-assistance features, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim.
• Infotainment: All models get an 8-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a built-in WiFi hotspot. Navigation is standard on all trim levels except the base 1LT.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 12.6 L/100 km combined, 15.1 L/100 km city, and 9.6 L/100 km highway.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the least expensive way into the Corvette, but it is also the most stripped-down. It makes sense if you want the core performance experience and can live without some of the convenience and safety features found higher up the range.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more of the features that make the Corvette easier to live with, including the stronger audio setup and navigation. It is the sweet spot if you want a well-rounded used Corvette.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most fully equipped Corvette Stingray in the lineup and are willing to pay for it.

The safety features are not available on the base 1LT trim level.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 81 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $88,867 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $92,024 CAD sits slightly below last year's $93,824 CAD.

That softer pricing trend suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make the car more appealing to used buyers today. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples with desirable trim and options should still hold attention because the Corvette remains a high-demand sports car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is light on driver-assist tech, with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as the main notable features. Those systems are especially useful given the Corvette’s limited rear visibility, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The main safety caveat is that this is still a focused sports car with limited advanced safety equipment compared with more mainstream vehicles.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds only minor changes for the model year, including new exterior colours and a limited-edition IMSA GTLM Championship Edition.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $83,980 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $92,024 CAD average.
• It offers the Corvette experience with a power-operated open roof.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $107,081 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $92,024 CAD average.
• It leans harder into supercar-style performance and everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, performance, and current-market availability, the 2022 is the strongest all-around pick. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2021 is worth a look; if you want a newer-feeling step up in character, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
