Used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale near British Columbia

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 1.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 86 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its stunning looks, impressive performance, comfortable ride, excellent handling, and strong value for money. That lines up well with the Corvette’s use case as a distinctive mid-engine sports car that still manages to be a decent value. Even with its serious performance focus, it remains approachable enough for shoppers who want excitement without giving up everyday comfort. With 36.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s also a healthy share of attractive market opportunities.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to enthusiasts: it delivers strong performance, a comfortable ride, and a sense of value that keeps owners happy over time. The expert assessment also describes it as a car that is easy to get the most out of and remarkably comfortable for daily driving. Chevrolet’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty add some reassurance for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is that this is still a high-performance sports car, so maintenance and repair costs can be higher than those of a mainstream coupe.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT is the least expensive way in, but it misses some equipment that appears on higher trims, including navigation and the available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2LT adds more convenience and tech, while the 3LT is the most richly equipped. The best-value trim is often the 2LT if you want a stronger mix of features without stepping all the way to the top.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-litre V8 with 490 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, or 495 hp and 470 lb-ft with the optional performance exhaust system. It uses an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a mid-engine layout that helps traction and balance.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are the notable driver-assistance features, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim.
• Infotainment: All models get an 8-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a built-in WiFi hotspot. Navigation is standard on all trim levels except the base 1LT.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 12.6 L/100 km combined, 15.1 L/100 km city, and 9.6 L/100 km highway.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but it leaves out some desirable equipment, including navigation and the available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable with a simpler spec.
• 2LT: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more convenience and tech while staying below the top trim. It’s the sweet spot if you want a more complete Corvette without paying for every available feature.
• 3LT: This is the most upscale trim and suits you if you want the most fully equipped Corvette Stingray from the factory.

A safety-package note: blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not available on the base 1LT trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to find value if you move decisively.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 86 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $88,863 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $92,223 CAD sits slightly below last year's $93,375 CAD.

That mild decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper short-term resale gains if you plan to sell soon. Even so, the Corvette’s strong reputation, desirable performance, and broad enthusiast appeal should help support demand over time. Its relatively stable pricing also suggests it remains a sought-after used sports car rather than a model with sharp value swings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Corvette is light on driver-assist tech, with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert standing out as the main available features. Those systems are especially useful given the car’s limited rear visibility, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

For used buyers, the key safety trade-off is that this is a focused sports car, so you should not expect the broad suite of advanced safety features found in many mainstream vehicles.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the same trim lineup and adds minor updates, including new exterior colours and an IMSA GTLM Championship Edition.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $83,899 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $92,223 CAD average.
• It offers the Corvette experience with a more convenient open-roof convertible focus.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $108,206 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $92,223 CAD average.
• It leans harder into supercar-style drama and a more exotic-feeling driving experience.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, performance, and feature content, the 2022 is the sensible pick. If you’re shopping strictly on budget, the 2021 can save you money, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer-year upgrade and are willing to pay more.
