What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 1LT is the simplest version, while the 2LT adds navigation, a performance data and video recorder, a 14-speaker Bose stereo, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, lumbar control, wireless device charging, interior cargo nets, and a head-up display. The 3LT adds GT2 bucket seats and more soft-touch leather surfaces, so it suits you best if you want the most upscale cabin. The 2LT is the best-value trim if you want the biggest jump in equipment without going all the way to the top.
• Powertrain: You get a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The optional Performance Exhaust raises output, and the Z51 Performance Package adds a performance rear-axle ratio, heavy-duty cooling, an electronic limited-slip differential, performance tyres, and an upgraded rear spoiler.
• Safety package: The standard setup includes a backup camera, front- and side-impact airbags, and rear parking sensors. The 2LT adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror, while the base trim does not get those extras.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen with Chevy’s Infotainment 3 system, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth, and OnStar capability. The system is designed around a driver-focused layout and includes a logical menu structure.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 6.2-litre V8 returns 15.0 L/100 km in city driving, 9.8 L/100 km on the highway, and 12.7 L/100 km combined. In testing, it recorded 13.1 L/100 km.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the core Corvette experience with the digital instrument panel, leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, and the Bose 10-speaker stereo. Choose it if you want the lowest-cost way into the car and don’t need the extra comfort and convenience features.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds navigation, the performance data and video recorder, a 14-speaker Bose system, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, and a head-up display. It also brings blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the rear camera mirror.
• 3LT: This is the most luxurious version, with GT2 bucket seats and more soft-touch leather surfaces throughout the cabin. It makes the most sense if you want the most premium interior and are willing to pay for it.

The 2LT is the trim that adds the key safety features, while the base 1LT does not.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 123 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.50% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $101,786 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $101,786 CAD sits slightly below last year's $116,324 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about where the market has settled. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to the higher end of the range.

The Corvette’s strong desirability should still help support demand when it’s time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2023 Corvette earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with a backup camera, rear parking sensors, and a full array of front- and side-impact airbags. The 2LT trim adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror, which helps with rear visibility.

The main drawback is that it lacks modern driver-assistance features such as forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams, and those systems are not even available as options. That’s an important compromise if safety tech is a priority for you.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for its mid-engine layout, strong performance, and surprisingly usable dual-personality character.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $92,949 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $101,786 CAD average.
• It offers strong performance and value with only minor changes for that model year.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this Corvette generation and are comfortable shopping a market with moderate inventory, the 2023 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re happy with a very similar driving experience, the 2022 is the smarter value play.
