The front and second rows are comfortable and spacious, the cargo area is generous, and the refined interior gives it a polished feel. Is the 2022 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Q7’s appeal comes from its practical cabin, refined interior, and everyday usability, all of which support confidence in day-to-day ownership. Its strengths are balanced by some clear drawbacks, including the base engine’s limited power and unimpressive fuel economy when it has to work hard. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about choosing the right configuration and condition than expecting a simple, low-cost experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right example.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 147 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,298 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $37,298 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,644 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q7 more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may depend heavily on how well the vehicle is equipped, maintained, and presented when it comes time to list it. Because the model still has broad appeal as a practical luxury SUV, a well-kept example should remain easier to market than one with visible wear or a weak service history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, usability, and current market softness, the 2022 is a sensible primary target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs any differences in equipment or condition.
