How much does the 2021 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 7.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 217 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 RAM 3500 earns a 4.71/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its towing capability, handling with heavy loads, and spacious cab, and many also appreciate the ride quality compared with competitors. It fits especially well if you need a heavy-duty truck that can handle demanding jobs without feeling stripped down, while still offering a more polished everyday experience. With 27.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2021 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck that feels dependable in the ways that matter most for heavy-duty use, especially when it comes to towing and handling heavy loads. That kind of confidence matters if you plan to count on it for work or frequent hauling. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the truck has been maintained properly, since heavy-duty use can magnify the cost of neglect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 RAM 3500?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 217 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.12% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $53,480 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $57,819 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,250 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can be good news if you're buying now but less ideal if you're planning to sell soon. A softer market can mean future resale gains may be more limited unless demand strengthens. Even so, the truck's strong owner satisfaction and heavy-duty appeal should help it stay relevant with shoppers who need serious capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 RAM 3500 is the better pick if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval, a softer used-market price, and enough inventory to shop selectively. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar capability for less money.
