Used 2021 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2021 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 181 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing used examples.

Is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Jeep Gladiator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its ruggedness, off-road capability, and unique design, and they also like the powerful feel of the diesel edition and the comfortable interior. For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want a midsize pickup that feels more adventurous and distinctive than a conventional truck. It is especially appealing if you value open-air character, personalisation, and a vehicle that stands out from the crowd.

The market also shows 27.1% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners also describe it as rugged, dependable, and trouble-free in the ways that matter most to long-term ownership, especially if you want something you can count on for adventure-focused use. The expert review reinforces that impression by highlighting the Gladiator’s durable, purpose-built character and its ability to handle demanding off-road driving with confidence. The diesel powertrain adds low-end grunt and broadens the truck’s capability, while the overall package still feels like a vehicle built for long-term use rather than short-term novelty.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about basic dependability and more about accepting the Gladiator’s compromises in fuel use, ride quality, and price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Jeep Gladiator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Willys grade adds a blacked-out grille, limited-slip rear differential, rock rails, and 32-inch all-terrain tires to the Sport or Sport S trim levels, while the High Altitude luxury model brings body-colour detailing, black 20-inch wheels, and premium Nappa leather. The base setup is sparse, with a reversing camera and not much else, so you should pay close attention to how much equipment is included on the specific truck you are considering.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.6-litre Pentastar gasoline V6 is joined by a new 3.0-litre EcoDiesel turbo-diesel V6 for 2021. The diesel delivers strong low-end torque and better fuel efficiency than the gas engine, but it is not available on the Gladiator Mojave.
• Safety package: The truck can be upgraded with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. Standard equipment is limited, so you should confirm which driver-assistance features are fitted on the used example you are shopping.
• Infotainment: The standard Uconnect 4 system uses a 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Higher-spec versions can get the Uconnect 4C system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and navigation, and the Alpine premium sound system is available with the 7-inch screen.
• Fuel efficiency: The diesel averaged 10.4 L/100 km during testing, and the standard V6 returned 11.6 L/100 km in mostly highway driving.

Which 2021 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Overland, and High Altitude.

Here's the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point, and it makes the most sense if you want the Gladiator experience at the lowest starting price. It comes with the basic 7-inch display and the core open-air, truck-meets-Jeep formula, but you should expect a fairly sparse feature set.
• Willys: This is the best-value choice if you want more trail-ready hardware without jumping too far up the price ladder. The added blacked-out grille, limited-slip rear differential, rock rails, and 32-inch all-terrain tires give it a more capable and more distinctive personality.
• Overland: This is the trim to consider if you want a more polished Gladiator with a richer interior and the kind of equipment that makes long-distance use more comfortable. The test truck’s heated front seats, steering wheel, leather upholstery, and upgraded infotainment show how far this trim can be pushed.
• High Altitude: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with body-colour detailing, black 20-inch wheels, premium Nappa leather, and the top-shelf Uconnect 4C system with navigation.

The safety package is still trim-dependent, so make sure the used truck you choose has the driver-assistance features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile examples.

• Deal availability: 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 181 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,810 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $39,014 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,811 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck easier to buy now but may also mean future sellers need to be realistic on asking price. If you own one, the Gladiator’s distinctive character and strong enthusiast appeal should help support demand, especially for well-equipped examples and trims with desirable features. The current pricing also shows that buyers are still willing to pay for its unique mix of utility and personality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA, and a three-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

In standard form, the Gladiator comes with a reversing camera and little else, so you will want to look closely at the available driver-assistance equipment on any used example. Depending on trim and options, it can be equipped with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The blind-spot monitoring system is especially worth seeking out because the side mirrors are narrow.

Should I buy a 2021 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 model year adds a new turbo-diesel engine option and available full-time four-wheel drive, which broadens its appeal for buyers who want more capability and flexibility.

The bottom line: If you want the Gladiator’s most distinctive mix of open-air character, truck utility, and adventure appeal, the 2021 is a compelling choice. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to focus on the best-equipped examples that already include the safety and comfort features you care about, since the base trucks are sparse and upgrades add up quickly.
