Used 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

Prices have softened 10.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 393 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of choice.

Is the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its excellent value, comfortable ride, and broad feature set, and many also like its smooth driving experience and highway fuel efficiency. That lines up well with its role as a practical family SUV with three rows of seating, generous cargo space, and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. With 29.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a meaningful amount of attractive inventory to consider.

Is the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights a dependable, trouble-free feel for many shoppers, with praise centred on comfort, value, and everyday usability. That said, some drivers mention the engine can feel under-powered at times, so you may want to pay close attention to how a used example drives under load. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a vehicle whose performance does not match your expectations.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 393 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,147 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

The current average of $23,147 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,919 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Santa Fe easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you purchase at a strong price, you may have a better chance of protecting your equity later. The model’s broad appeal as a practical family SUV should help keep demand steady, especially among shoppers who value comfort and features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,067 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $23,147 CAD average.
• It offers strong value in a practical five-passenger package.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the more versatile, better-equipped Santa Fe with strong owner satisfaction and a healthy used market. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2020 is the better value-focused alternative.
