Is the 2021 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers describing it as a car they enjoy living with over time. That kind of praise matters if you want something you can count on rather than just admire from a distance.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 86 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,525 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $49,421 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,667 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also suggests future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if market conditions stay similar. Even so, the Challenger’s broad appeal and strong enthusiast following can help support demand when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $38,550 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $49,421 CAD average.
• It offers retro muscle-car appeal with modern tech and a distinctly Canadian-built identity.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2020 is the better value path and still delivers the Challenger’s core appeal.
