Is the 2021 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.88/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its power, comfort, and unique styling, and they also highlight the technology, features, handling, and driving experience. That lines up well if you want a five-passenger coupe with everyday usability, a user-friendly infotainment system, and a broad mix of performance choices. With 29.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centred on its power, comfort, and driving experience. That kind of repeat satisfaction usually suggests the car can be a solid long-term ownership choice if it has been cared for properly. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about finding one that has not been neglected or abused.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 86 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,150 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $49,150 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,301 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current lower entry point means your eventual return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. Strong demand from enthusiasts can still help support values, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $35,065 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $49,150 CAD average.
• It offers spacious seating, strong engine choices, and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2021 if you want the stronger current-market mix of owner satisfaction and deal availability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2020 is the better value path and still delivers the Challenger’s core appeal.
