Yes — the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a practical three-row SUV with room for eight, family-friendly access to the third row, and a comfortable daily-driving experience. Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a decent example.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 131 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,928 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $20,928 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,008 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pathfinder has become more affordable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at today’s average, you may have less room for appreciation than in a stronger market, so condition and mileage will matter even more when it comes time to resell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2020 if you want a well-equipped, family-friendly Pathfinder with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2020 is the better starting point when you want a balance of value, features, and buyer confidence.
