How much does the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 17.13% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 115 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 4.79/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and many also like the luxury features and advanced technology. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical three-row SUV with family-friendly space and comfort. With 38.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.79/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on its strong performance and smooth ride. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and how the vehicle drives, especially given the model’s long-term ownership considerations.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 115 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.13% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,552 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $21,583 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,044 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy now, the lower entry price can help reduce the risk of overpaying, though resale gains may be more limited if prices stay soft. Strong demand for a practical three-row SUV can still support value, especially when the vehicle is well kept and attractively equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a comfortable, spacious three-row SUV and you value a lower current asking price, the 2020 Pathfinder is the better fit. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a similar configuration is available at a lower asking price.
