There are 138 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Honda Odyssey earns a 4.78/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Reviewers consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and user-friendly features, and many also like the luxurious feel and updated technology. It fits especially well if you want a family vehicle built around everyday practicality, passenger space, and convenience. With 28.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value a vehicle they can count on for family duty. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance records and a thorough test drive, since long-term ownership risk can rise if prior issues were not addressed properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 138 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,152 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $28,984 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,468 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the van more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle well maintained, you can help protect your position when it comes time to resell. Strong demand for family-friendly features can still support value, especially in a model that shoppers already know and trust.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• It adds improved safety, upgraded technology, and refreshed styling.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better primary pick if you want a well-liked, family-focused minivan and can find one priced competitively. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2020’s softer market and decent deal availability make it worth targeting first, while the 2021 is the better alternative if those upgrades matter more to you than savings.
