Used 2020 Ford Edge for Sale nearWinnipeg, MB

How much does the 2020 Ford Edge cost?

Prices have softened 15.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 398 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2020 Ford Edge a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Ford Edge earns a 4.63/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the comfortable ride, spacious cabin, and modern features, and they also highlight the solid build quality and roomy interior. That makes it a strong fit if you want a practical two-row SUV for families or taller passengers. The trade-offs are its uninspired styling and an underwhelming base engine, so it suits you best if comfort and convenience matter more than excitement. With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market choice.

Is the 2020 Ford Edge reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV with solid build quality, comfortable day-to-day use, and a cabin that many owners feel confident living with over time. The expert notes also reinforce that it is a well-equipped, easy-to-use vehicle rather than a finicky one. Some owners do mention technical issues, especially with the transmission and certain tech features, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the electronics behave on a test drive. For used buyers, that means the biggest long-term risk is not the basic package itself, but whether a specific example has been maintained and sorted properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Ford Edge?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE comes standard with SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, two USB ports, heated front seats and side mirrors, a heated steering wheel, 18-inch aluminum wheels, remote keyless entry, SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth, plus dual-zone climate control and Ford Co-Pilot360. The SEL adds LED fog lights, synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a nine-speaker premium audio system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Titanium adds 19-inch nickel-plated aluminum wheels, a unique headlight design, genuine leather upholstery, a 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, driver’s seat memory presets, a wall-style power outlet, heated rear seats, and ventilated front seats. The ST adds a bigger, more powerful engine and sportier styling.
• Powertrain: The standard engine is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. The ST uses a 2.7-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 with 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, standard AWD, and stronger performance.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 is standard on every trim and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is available on the SEL and adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go traffic capability and active lane centring.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets SYNC 3 with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and a simple icon-based layout. A semi-digital instrument panel with dual screens is available on the SEL and ST and standard on the Titanium.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0-litre four-cylinder with FWD returns 11.2 L/100 km city, 8.1 highway, and 9.8 combined. With AWD, it returns 11.4 city, 8.3 highway, and 10.0 combined. The ST returns 12.5 city, 9.2 highway, and 11.0 combined.

Which 2020 Ford Edge trim should I buy?

The 2020 Ford Edge is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the value-focused starting point, and it already gives you a lot of standard equipment, including SYNC 3, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and Ford Co-Pilot360. If you want the best balance of price and features, this is the trim to start with.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a premium audio system, and the option for Co-Pilot360 Assist+. It is the trim to target if you want a more upscale feel without jumping to the top end.
• Titanium: This trim is for you if you want the most comfort-oriented version, with genuine leather, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, memory settings, and a standard semi-digital instrument panel. It is the most polished non-performance choice.
• ST: Choose this if you want the strongest performance, since it gets the 2.7-litre twin-turbo V6, standard AWD, and sportier styling. It is the right pick if driving enjoyment matters more than value.

Ford Co-Pilot360 is standard across the lineup, while Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is available on the SEL.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Ford Edge?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 398 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,188 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $20,219 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,888 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Edge has become more accessible for buyers, which can make it harder for sellers to command top dollar right now. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current market shows that pricing discipline matters, especially if your vehicle is a higher-trim example that needs to stand out against a broad pool of listings. On the other hand, the Edge’s strong equipment list and broad appeal can still support demand if your vehicle is well maintained and priced competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Ford Edge safe?

The 2020 Ford Edge received a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and earns five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests, and four-star ratings in rollover crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford Co-Pilot360 is standard on every trim and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. If you move up to the SEL, you can add Co-Pilot360 Assist+, which brings adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and active lane centring. One caveat to keep in mind is that IIHS headlight performance varies by trim, with some versions rated lower than others.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps Ford’s latest infotainment and safety technology while also offering the Edge ST performance variant.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $17,875 CAD, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $20,219 CAD average.
• It prioritises family usefulness, with strong backseat legroom and cargo space.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped, current-market version with strong safety and tech, the 2020 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money and you can live with an older model year, the 2019 is the more budget-friendly route.
