Used 2020 Ford Edge for Sale nearAbbotsford, BC

How much does the 2020 Ford Edge cost?

Prices have softened 15.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 402 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Ford Edge a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Ford Edge earns a 4.63/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the Edge for its comfort, spaciousness, modern features, solid build quality, and roomy interior. That makes it a strong fit if you want a straightforward midsize two-row SUV with broad everyday appeal, especially for tall drivers and families.

The trade-offs are its uninspired styling and underwhelming base engine, and the expert assessment also notes that the Edge feels long in the tooth. Even so, it remains a practical choice if you value easy-to-use tech and a well-equipped cabin over flash.

With 29.6% of listings priced as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Ford Edge reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a vehicle that many drivers find comfortable, spacious, and solidly built, with a reputation for being a dependable everyday SUV. It also highlights the roomy interior and modern features, which are the kinds of traits buyers often count on over time.

The expert assessment reinforces that impression by describing the Edge as a straightforward, easy-to-use SUV with a well-sorted cabin and useful technology. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that some examples may show tech or transmission-related concerns, so a careful test drive and service-history review matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Ford Edge?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE comes with a strong standard equipment list, including heated front seats and side mirrors, a heated steering wheel, SYNC 3, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Ford Co-Pilot360. The SEL adds LED fog lights, synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a premium audio system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Titanium adds leather upholstery, 19-inch wheels, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and more power-adjustment features. The ST is the performance-focused choice with sportier styling and a more powerful engine.
• Powertrain: The standard 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder makes 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, with front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive through an eight-speed automatic. The Edge ST uses a 2.7-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 with 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, standard AWD, and a sportier driving character.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is available on the SEL and adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go traffic capability and active lane centring.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets an 8-inch SYNC 3 touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and easy-to-use menus. Wireless smartphone integration and OTA capability are not mentioned.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0-litre FWD model is rated at 11.2 L/100 km city, 8.1 highway, and 9.8 combined. With AWD, it returns 11.4 city, 8.3 highway, and 10.0 combined. The ST returns 12.5 city, 9.2 highway, and 11.0 combined.

Which 2020 Ford Edge trim should I buy?

The 2020 Ford Edge is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the value-focused starting point, and it already gives you a lot: heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Ford Co-Pilot360. If you want the most equipment for the money, this is the trim to start with.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds useful comfort and convenience upgrades without jumping to luxury pricing. You get synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, LED fog lights, and a premium audio system, plus the option to add Co-Pilot360 Assist+.
• Titanium: Choose this if you want the more upscale Edge experience. It adds leather upholstery, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and more premium cabin touches, along with standard AWD.
• ST: Pick this if you want the performance-oriented Edge. It brings the 2.7-litre twin-turbo V6, standard AWD, and sportier tuning and styling.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is available on the SEL.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Ford Edge?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 402 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,179 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $20,179 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,938 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Edge has become more affordable for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium unless the vehicle is especially well equipped or lightly used. The current market also shows a fairly wide spread between the low and high end of the year-round range, so condition and trim will matter.

If you own a higher-trim or well-maintained example, you may be better positioned than the average listing. Strong equipment, clean history, and desirable features should help support demand as the model continues to age.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Ford Edge safe?

The 2020 Ford Edge received a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it earns five-star ratings from NHTSA overall, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover crash tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford Co-Pilot360 comes standard on every trim and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. If you move up to the SEL, you can add Co-Pilot360 Assist+, which brings adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and active lane centring.

One caveat is that IIHS headlight performance varies by trim, with some versions rated lower than others. That makes trim choice worth paying attention to if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines standard tech, standard safety, and an available performance-oriented ST trim.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $17,668 CAD, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $20,179 CAD average.
• It helped shape the family SUV formula and prioritises everyday usefulness.

The bottom line: Buy the 2020 if you want the better-equipped, better-priced-in-context version of the Edge with strong safety and tech coverage. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2019 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the Edge’s practical two-row layout.
