Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also describes it as reliable and enjoyable to drive, with language that points to a dependable ownership experience over time. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger risk is less about day-to-day trustworthiness and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean maintenance history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 167 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,118 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $20,185 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,467 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Crosstrek easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices continue to soften. On the other hand, a model with strong owner satisfaction can still hold buyer interest better than a less-liked competitor. If you maintain it well and keep mileage and condition in check, you should be in a better position when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better pick if you want a well-liked Crosstrek with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price environment than a year ago. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and deal quality.
