Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 235 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.21% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,252 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $14,276 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,038 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale a little more challenging if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may have less downside exposure than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. The Kicks’ value-oriented reputation should still help it appeal to budget-minded shoppers, but future resale will likely depend on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Nissan Kicks makes the most sense if you want a practical, fuel-efficient, budget-friendly used crossover and you can live with its modest performance. If you’re price-sensitive, this year is especially worth a look because the market has softened and there are plenty of listings to compare. If you want the same basic formula but are shopping strictly on price, you can also keep nearby model years in view and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
