It stands out as a luxury SUV with a premium feel, a quiet and comfortable ride, a spacious cabin, and a high-quality interior. The 2019 GLE is described as having a strong reputation for reliability, which fits its reputation as a well-equipped, polished luxury SUV. Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 135 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.93% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,445 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $40,470 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,265 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make the GLE more approachable for you as a buyer today. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale gains may be more limited in the near term unless the vehicle is especially well kept and attractively equipped. Even so, the model’s premium positioning and broad appeal can help support demand when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-equipped, comfortable, and practical luxury SUV with strong owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the right place to focus. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example offers the features you want at a better entry point.
