What is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $17,754 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,136 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become a bit more accessible for buyers, which can make it easier to move later if you keep the car in strong condition. For a future seller, the current softness may mean less immediate upside than in a rising market, but it can also help keep demand steady among shoppers looking for value.

Because the model has a strong owner satisfaction score, it should continue to appeal to used-car shoppers who want a well-liked compact car with a premium feel. That kind of demand support can help resale value hold up better over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2019 is the year to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s stronger overall appeal.
