How much does the 2019 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the comfortable driving experience, smooth ride, upscale interior features, performance, and handling. That fits well if you want a compact car that feels more premium than many mainstream rivals while still delivering everyday practicality. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, with praise centred on the overall driving experience and quality feel. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that any reported issues can become more relevant as mileage climbs, so a careful inspection and service-history review still matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mazda MAZDA3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 234 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.13% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,660 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $17,747 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,318 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also suggests future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment than they would have a year ago. If you plan to own the car for several years, the current market gives you a lower entry point, which can help offset later depreciation. Strong owner satisfaction can still support demand when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Mazda MAZDA3 is a strong pick if you want a compact car that feels upscale, drives well, and has solid owner approval. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry price, but the 2019 remains the better all-around choice if you value the balance of quality, comfort, and driving enjoyment.
