Used 2019 Kia Sorento for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2019 Kia Sorento cost?

Prices have softened 18.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 355 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2019 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Kia Sorento earns a 4.62/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfortable ride, spacious interior, and great value, and many also like the third-row seating and smooth road manners. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a midsize SUV with family-friendly flexibility and everyday usability. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a vehicle that many owners find reliable, dependable, and trouble-free in day-to-day use, especially when they value its comfortable, practical nature over flashier alternatives. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you plan to keep the SUV for several years.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure you choose a well-maintained example, since any older SUV can become more expensive if prior care was inconsistent.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Kia Sorento?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing across the board.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 355 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.94% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,526 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $15,526 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,153 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can work against you if you're planning to sell soon. If you buy now, you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

The good news is that the Sorento's broad appeal as a practical family SUV helps support demand. A model that offers space, value, and a comfortable ride can still attract shoppers when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Sorento is the better choice if you want a well-rounded used midsize SUV with strong owner approval, useful space, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year with lower asking prices may be worth a look, but the 2019 remains the more balanced pick for most shoppers.
