Is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 4.78/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. You’ll also see recurring praise for the smooth ride, high-quality interior, and practical storage solutions, including the built-in bed storage and comfortable seating. That makes it a strong fit if you want a pickup that prioritises everyday comfort and usability over a rough, traditional truck feel. With 35.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centred on the truck’s long-term usefulness, smooth operation, and practical design. That kind of feedback suggests you can count on it for daily driving and regular use if it has been maintained properly. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 100 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,403 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $29,083 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,394 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a positive if you’re buying now, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic when setting an asking price. The current trend suggests the market has cooled compared with a year ago, so resale gains are unlikely to come from short-term appreciation. Instead, value retention will depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Ridgeline’s comfort-first approach, practical storage, and strong owner approval, the 2019 is a compelling choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge, since the market is giving you some negotiating room.
