Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 144 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,533 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $25,533 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,165 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Pilot more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should be set with the current softer pricing in mind. Even so, the model’s strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $30,701 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $25,533 CAD average.
• It adds stronger everyday appeal with more polished comfort and handling.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable with a well-equipped family SUV that has strong owner approval. Consider the 2020 if you are willing to pay more for a newer model year and slightly broader appeal; if price matters most, the 2019 is the smarter path.
