This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

• Inventory: There are 44 listings available.

The current average of $39,012 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,986 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means a future sale may need to be priced competitively to stand out. If the market stays near this range, resale value should remain steady rather than sharply rising.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Transit Passenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better pick if you want a model year with solid owner satisfaction and a softer price trend. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of listing price and deal share.
