Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Transit Passenger?

This looks like a moderate buyer's market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 21.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 28 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.03% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,755 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Transit Passenger's resale value?

The current average of $49,755 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,006 CAD.

That gap suggests resale values have eased, so if you buy now, you may be entering at a more favourable point than a seller who bought earlier in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means your eventual return will depend more on how well you buy today and how carefully you maintain the vehicle. If market conditions stay soft, pricing competitively will matter more when it's time to sell.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Transit Passenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 21.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.03% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want to shop a year with softer pricing and a reasonable share of deal listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2022's current market position.
