Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Ford Transit Passenger?

It’s a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when you find the right listing.

• Inventory: There are 26 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.37% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $23,778 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford Transit Passenger's resale value?

The current average of $27,785 CAD sits slightly above last year's $27,141 CAD.

That upward movement suggests the market has been willing to pay a bit more for this model year, which can support resale confidence if you decide to sell later. The relatively tight spread between the year-round low and high also points to a market with defined pricing boundaries, so condition and mileage should matter a lot when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford Transit Passenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 19.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.37% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want this model year, the 2016 looks like a reasonable target because demand is still supporting prices and owner satisfaction is strong. If you’re more price-sensitive, compare nearby years and focus on listings that land near the lower end of the current range, since that’s where you’re most likely to find better value.
