Is the 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Drivers consistently praise its powerful performance, reliability, towing capability, and interior features, while also appreciating its fuel efficiency. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a heavy-duty truck that can handle demanding work and still feel reasonably modern and comfortable. With 19.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to reliability, dependability, and a truck that owners feel confident keeping for the long haul. That matters if you want a used heavy-duty pickup you can count on for regular towing or work use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s core durability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly under heavy-duty use.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of preserving value later because you are starting from a more realistic entry point. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 19.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $57,499 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $51,261 CAD average.
• It adds a new 7.3-litre V8 and Tremor trim for broader capability.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want strong capability, solid owner satisfaction, and a better current price. If you are willing to spend more for newer powertrain and trim options, the 2020 is the better secondary path; if price matters most, the 2019 is the smarter buy.
