How much does the 2019 Dodge Journey cost?

There are 74 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2019 Dodge Journey a good car?

The 2019 Dodge Journey can be a reasonable fit if you value space and straightforward utility over polish, and its 3.6/5 user rating reflects that mixed but workable reputation. Owners commonly praise the spacious three-row seating, the powerful V6 engine, and the usefulness of all-wheel drive and heated seats in cold weather. The interior design also gets positive mention, even if some shoppers want more storage and stronger acceleration. With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you may find some attractive examples if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Dodge Journey reliable?

Owners’ comments point to a vehicle that can be dependable for everyday use when you choose a well-kept example, especially if you want a practical family hauler with useful cold-weather features. The feedback also suggests that long-term ownership can be more appealing if you prioritise the Journey’s space and V6 strength over refinement. For used buyers, the main risk is ending up with a vehicle that has been neglected, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Journey?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 74 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.27% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,936 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $13,865 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,390 CAD.

That decline suggests the Journey has lost value fairly quickly, which can be a drawback if you plan to sell in the near future. On the other hand, it may help you buy at a more favourable point if you want to keep the vehicle for several years. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that resale strength looks limited unless the vehicle is in especially good condition and priced competitively.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.27% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2019 Dodge Journey makes the most sense if you want a lower-priced used SUV with three-row space and you can find one in strong condition. If you are price-sensitive, the 2019 is worth a close look because the market has softened and there are some good deals available. If you want the best value, focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the cheapest listing.
