Is the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its performance, comfort, and style, and many also like the spacious interior and the power available from the V6 and ZR2 versions. If you want a midsize pickup that balances capability with everyday usability, this model year fits that brief well. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that many people enjoy living with over time, especially when it comes to performance and comfort. At the same time, the model’s reliability reputation is mixed, with some owners and shoppers noting transmission trouble and other issues. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth taking seriously, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one without a clear service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some patience and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.52% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,965 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $29,098 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,799 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you buy now, the current price level gives you a better entry point than a year ago, which can help cushion depreciation later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want a midsize pickup with strong owner approval and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s stronger satisfaction signal.
