Yes — the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its reliability, performance, and value, and they also like its smooth ride, safety features, and versatility as a work truck. For you, that means it can make sense if you want a midsize pickup that balances everyday comfort with useful capability and practical utility. Is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 94 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,695 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $20,768 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,427 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you are thinking about future resale, the current pricing trend means your best protection is buying well and avoiding overpaying today. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Colorado is a sensible choice if you want a midsize pickup with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price. If you are focused on value, this year deserves a close look; if you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a better-equipped or similarly priced truck fits your budget more closely.
