Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Colorado makes the most sense if you want a midsize pickup with strong everyday usability and you can find one priced competitively. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a similar truck offers a better entry price or a stronger deal, but the 2018 remains a sensible primary target when condition and maintenance history are good.
