Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Qashqai?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 282 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,506 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Qashqai's resale value?

The current average of $13,943 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,556 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal if you're thinking about future resale. On one hand, it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point today. On the other, it suggests the market has already adjusted downward, so future appreciation is unlikely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Qashqai or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and current pricing, the 2018 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced listing offers similar value, but the 2018 already gives you a solid combination of market softness and buyer confidence.
