Is the 2020 Nissan Qashqai a good car?

The 2020 Nissan Qashqai sits in a buyer-friendly part of the market, with pricing that has moved lower year over year and enough inventory to give you options. That combination can make it easier for you to compare condition, mileage, and equipment before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Qashqai?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 305 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,340 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Qashqai's resale value?

The current average of $17,372 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,556 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you if you're buying now, but it also means future resale expectations should stay grounded. If you plan to sell later, the current market suggests you may not recover as much as owners did a year ago. For you, that makes purchase price discipline especially important.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Qashqai or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.17% compared with last year.

The bottom line:
The 2020 is the better pick if you want the strongest mix of current value and available inventory. If you're more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2020's current market position.
