How much does the 2018 Honda Odyssey cost?

There are 224 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2018 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Honda Odyssey earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and family-friendly features, and many also highlight its reliability and modern design. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a practical family minivan with a more car-like driving feel and a well-equipped cabin. With 26.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to it being reliable and dependable, with many owners describing it as a vehicle they can count on for family use over the long term. That said, some shoppers mention infotainment and airflow complaints, so a thorough test drive and service-history review are still smart steps before you buy. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any electrical or transmission concerns have been properly addressed.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 224 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,941 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $24,114 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,938 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Odyssey easier to buy now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices stay soft. If you plan to sell later, the current trend points to a vehicle that may hold value best when it is well maintained and priced competitively. Strong demand from family buyers can still support resale, especially for clean examples with good service records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-equipped family minivan and you find a clean 2018 at a competitive price, this year makes sense as the primary target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a similar Odyssey offers a better asking price or a stronger deal on the same equipment and family-friendly practicality.
