Used 2018 Honda CR-V for Sale nearMississauga, ON

How much does the 2018 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 12.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 762 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the CR-V for its value, comfort, spacious interior, good gas mileage, and useful tech features. That lines up well with its role as a practical compact crossover for shoppers who want space, comfort, reliability, and value rather than something flashy. With 29.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centred on the CR-V’s reliability, comfort, and everyday usability. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for regular commuting and family duty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying too much for a well-liked model, so condition and service history still matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 762 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,275 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $20,275 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,121 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you're buying now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. The current range suggests the model is still in demand, yet not immune to broader used-market pressure. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should be better positioned to limit depreciation pain later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $22,239 CAD, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $20,275 CAD average.
• It adds a more refined, roomy feel with strong everyday drivability.

The bottom line:
The 2018 is the better value play if you want the CR-V formula at a lower entry price and you're comfortable shopping carefully. If you can stretch for the 2019, it may be worth it for buyers who want the newer-year feel and are less focused on upfront savings.
