Is the 2018 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. For you, that makes the Durango a sensible fit if you want a three-row SUV with room for family trips and a more muscular personality than many rivals. The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for the smooth ride and the kind of comfort and convenience that helps a vehicle feel trouble-free over time. Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 20.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 96 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.14% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,672 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $21,215 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,237 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point if you plan to keep the SUV for several years. For a future seller, the softer pricing means there may be less upside than there was a year ago, especially if the vehicle is not especially well equipped or well maintained. Still, the Durango's strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 20.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
