How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 6.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 84 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 4.73/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, comfort, and impressive cargo space, and many also like the smooth ride and useful features such as the rearview camera. For you, that makes the Traverse a strong fit if you want a family-focused crossover with lots of room for people and gear. With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.73/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle many drivers can count on for everyday family use, especially when space, comfort, and practicality matter most. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and inspection results, since long-term ownership risk is always higher when a model has known problem areas.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Traverse?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 84 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,737 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $20,247 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,591 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can work against you if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, it may also make the vehicle easier to buy at a fair price today. If you keep the Traverse in good condition and maintain it properly, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Traverse with strong space, comfort, and family-friendly usability, the 2018 is a sensible choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples, since the market shows enough inventory to give you options.
